Pathway

Academies and development

A ladder, not a lucky break. A child should know what the next rung is called, who runs it, and that it is free to enter.

Working draft for the Federation. Every heading, paragraph, stat and button on these pages is an Elementor widget. Replace any line with your official text, or delete a section you do not need.

The ladder

Kids Innovation Academy

Ages 6–12. Ball mastery, ideas, and a court that behaves like a classroom. The flagship. Free.

Rising Hoops

Ages 13–15. Team concepts, strength that respects growing bodies, and the first honest look at U16.

Elite Pathway

Ages 16–19. For players already in a club. Extra skill work, not a second club that steals them from their team.

Girls Game Lab

A parallel room, not a ‘if there is time’ session. Safe space, women coaches, a route into ZNBL Women.

Coach school

Licences C, B and A, taught on both islands.

Referee academy

Signals, reports, and the habit of arriving before the teams.

Rules for every academy

  • No child is turned away for lack of shoes. The kit library exists for this.
  • Register is taken. If a regular child disappears for two weeks, someone calls the family.
  • One coach to twelve children at Kids level. One to ten at Rising Hoops.
  • Water at every session. A session without water does not start.
  • Parents may watch. Coaches may not collect cash that the Federation did not set.
